ASSOCIATION AND MLS MEMBERSHIP
TexasBrokerSponsor.com® sponsoring broker Joe Dale Iley - Mission Real Estate Group is a member of many local Associations of Realtors® and MLS systems. Please see the list of our memberships.
Sponsoring Broker, Ron L. Miranda - The Miramas Group, LLC is able to offer real estate professionals the option to be sponsored by a licensed broker AND not be required to become a member of a Realtor® or MLS Board. In Texas, an agent only needs to have a valid TREC license and be sponsored by a Real Estate Broker in order to conduct and transact real estate business. However, without membership to a local association of realtors, you can’t use the Realtors® designation, refer to yourself as a "Realtor", obtain a Supra lockbox key, list properties on MLS systems or see agent details on the MLS and receive other benefits that the associations may provide.
When you join any local association of realtors, you will be required to also become a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors) and TAR (Texas Association of Realtors). You will need to ask your local association about NAR and TAR membership fees and dues. MLS fees and dues are separate from local association fees.
Agents with an active salesperson license may join an association only if the sponsoring broker is a member of that association. However, associate brokers may join any association they prefer. If we are not a member of your local association board, we may be willing to become a member if a mutually beneficial opportunity exist within your market. Please contact us for further details.
