Notice: TREC Online Services is the cheapest and fastest way to change or request sponsorship. It will save you about $20.00 by doing things online. This is your starting point to apply/renew a license and to do things such as changing address information or license status.
1. If you prefer Download and Complete the TREC Sponsorship Form which applies to you. For more information visit the Texas Real Estate Commission website. If you are an active agent, according to TREC, you can begin transacting business under the new broker after you have mailed off the form and applicable fee. You can also login at TREC and request changes online.
Choose One (1):
A. First Time Sponsorship (FREE...No Charge with TREC)
B. Requesting Sponsorship Due to Late Renewal or Reinstatement (FREE...No Charge with TREC)
C. Changing Brokers or Going from Inactive to Active
2. Fill out the top portion and email us the form so we can fill out broker portion. You can email to: sponsorship@texasbrokersponsor.com
3. We will email the form back to you along with the following:
(1) Independent Contractor Agreement with all applicable forms (2) IRS W-9
After you Read and Sign Agreements email them to: sponsorship@texasbrokersponsor.com
4. Then mail the TREC Sponsorship Form along with processing fee if applicable to TREC.
5. One last item...Next, pay your Membership Fee Online by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do accept cash, but must be delivered in person at our office. Checks are not accepted.
6. Welcome aboard and begin transacting real estate business!
