DBA AGENT CO-BRANDING SPONSORSHIP
DBA Agent Sponsor | Build Your DBA Brand and Grow Your Team™

Our new DBA Agent Sponsorship program allows agents to earn more and not spend more! This program allows Agents to co-brand their DBA real estate company brand with a designated broker. Our DBA Texas Sponsorship is a great option when owning an LLC or Corporate Brokerage is too expensive or when you have out grown being an Agent and are ready to grow your team!

Important Information:
TREC, must be notified in writing by the broker of the broker’s or sponsored sales agent’s use of an assumed name in business within 30 days of starting or stopping use of the name. [Rule 535.154(e)] Notification can be made to TREC using the Notice of DBA or Assumed Name for Broker's License form (DBA-2) that is available on our website. A licensed entity, such as a corporation or limited liability company is also required to give TREC written notice if the entity engages in business under an assumed name. An “assumed name” is any name other than the name in which the individual or entity is licensed. In addition, a license holder may not use the name of a sales agent in advertising unless the sponsoring broker’s name or assumed name also appears. [Rule 535.154]

Broker Assumed Business Name (DBA) is another name for the broker’s business that can be used by all sponsored sales agents and brokers associated with this broker. Another name that indicates a broker’s line of business, e.g.  property management or commercial is also a DBA. Team Name is a name used only by a team or group of one or more sponsored sales agents or brokers associated with this broker. Team names must end in “team” or “group” and cannot contain the words “brokerage”, “company”, or “associates” or other similar terms. (tinyurl.com/RealEstateDBATexas)
